US: Brush Fire Erupts In Del Mar Heights, San Diego 3

A brush fire erupted in the Del Mar Heights neighborhood in San Diego on Tuesday morning, June 25. The fire near Mira Montana Drive off Del Mar Heights Road prompted the mandatory evacuation of 2,500 residents from the area. The fire's forward progress was stopped by about 5:30 p.m. and all evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted by 7:20 p.m.

The unveiling ceremony of an 8-meter-tall metallic structure was held at Tehran's central Valiasr Square ahead of the Day of Gaza, which is annually marked by Iranians on Jan. 19 to commemorate the Palestinians' resistance during Israel's war on the coastal enclave in 2008-2009. The Palestinian students attending the ceremony sent doves flying into the sky to symbolize the liberation of the people of Gaza. YOKOHAMA, Japan - The plant of Japan Carlit Co. in Yokohama's Kanazawa Ward was destroyed by explosions that occurred at around 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2009. The explosions injured at least eight people -- six workers at the plant, a passer-by and an employee at a nearby factory.
